Egg Harbor will host the DOOR COUNTY YMCA 16TH ANNUAL BLOSSOM RUN on May 9th. Registration at 7A.M., five and two mile runs at 8:30 and the one mile run at 9:30A.M. The sponsor is DOOR COUNTY MEMORIAL HOSPITAL. Stay at the Newport Resort and enjoy the run!

Friday, May 1st, 2009MAY DAY is celebrated in many places around the world. The traditions and stories surrounding May Day vary from place to place. There is, however, one thing that is similar in most celebrations - the use of FLOWERS!
One of the most popular known May Day traditions is to hang a basket full of spring flowers on a neighbors doorknob. The trick is you don’t want the neighbor to see you! I have sweet memories of doing this with my son Luke and his friend Caitlyn Leline when they were children.
